The Big Kahuna
Pineapple on pizza is already a contraversal topic, putting it in a burger pushes that debate even further. I developed this concept independently to lean into that controversy and turn it into an interactive moment for KFC’s Big Kahuna.
With no official product assets supplied, I designed and animated the execution using any assets they had on hand. The concept was intentionally simple: let people decide. Users were presented with a clear choice - pineapple on the burger? Yes or no. Transforming a standard display placement into an interactive engaging ad.
By using the debate itself as the hook, the unit encouraged users to pause, engage, and form an opinion. The interaction helped drive curiosity around the Big Kahuna, proving how a small, well crafted interaction can spark conversation and attention around a product.
